HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Kareem Huggins had touchdown runs of 58 and seven yards as Hofstra extended its winning streak over Stony Brook to 11 games with a 33-28 victory Saturday night.
Huggins finished with 141 yards on 20 carries for the Pride (4-0), who have never lost to the Seawolves (3-2).
Hofstra's Bryan Savage completed 20 of 33 passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns but was picked off three times.
Josh Dudash was 22-of-48 for 244 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for Stony Brook. Lynell Suggs caught 10 passes for 132 yards.
Dudash found Kevin Halonski 1:27 into the game on an eight-yard scoring play to give Stony Brook its only lead at 7-0.
Hofstra, behind Huggins' 58-yard run at 13:11 of the first quarter and his seven-yard scamper at 7:42 of the second, carried the Pride to a 19-7 lead.
The Seawolves cut the deficit to 19-14 on Dwayne Eley's 20-yard TD catch at 7:01 of the third quarter.
