CONWAY, S.C. (AP) -- Tim Webb threw for 396 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winning score in overtime to lead Presbyterian past Coastal Carolina 41-34 Saturday.
Webb also threw six interceptions for the Blue Hose (5-3), who are playing their first season in Division I's Bowl Championship Series.
The Chanticleers (2-5) were led by Jamie Fordham who had 133 yards rushing on 13 carries.
Coastal jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter on a 13-yard TD run by Eric O'Neal, a 75-yard scoring pass from William Richardson to Jamar Anderson and a 57-yard interception return for a touchdown by safety Keon Cunningham.
Justin Durham added a 30-yard field goal with 5:32 left in the second quarter to put the Chants up 24-0.
With just seconds left in the half, S.J. Worrell scored the first of three consecutive rushing touchdowns for Presbyterian. Webb capped PC's comeback with a 9-yard pass to Justin Durant to put the Blue Hose up 27-24 with 5:44 left in the game.
The two teams traded scores then Durham tied it up with 16 seconds left in the game with a 32-yard field goal.
After Webb's 25-yard overtime scoring pass to Durant, the Presbyterian defense stopped Coastal to hold on for the win.
