TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Alex Steigerwald kicked a 40-yard field goal as time ran out to give Toledo a 3-point victory over Ohio Saturday night.
Jalen Parmele ran for 241 yards and two touchdowns, while quarterback Aaron Opelt added 204 yards passing and one touchdown. Toledo's offensive attack produced 473 yards -- which was 87 fewer yards than Ohio's total offensive production.
Kalvin McRae ran for 182 yards and three touchdowns for Ohio.
Ohio had a 21-20 lead after three quarters, but Toledo scored three touchdowns and a field goal in the fourth to get the win. Ohio was able to convert two two-point conversions after touchdowns in the fourth, and tied the game at 40 with a little over a minute left to go.
But Toledo charged down the field to get in position for the winning field goal.
