CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Ryan Perrilloux accounted for two touchdowns and Tremayne Coger ran for 123 yards and a score to lead Jacksonville State to a 31-3 win over Chattanooga on Saturday night.
Perrilloux, who completed 12-of-24 passes, threw for 122 yards and added 31 yards on the ground for the Gamecocks (2-1). Jacksonville State held the Mocs (1-3) to 177 yards and had five interceptions. Daniel Jackson added 111 yards on 17 carries for the Gamecocks.
The Gamecocks took a 17-0 lead in the second quarter when Perrilloux threw a 17-yard touchdown to Maurice Dupree, who had five catches for 95 yards. On a trick play, receiver John Whiddon connected with Dupree for a 37-yard score to push Jacksonville State's lead to 24 points in the second.
Clint Woods had nine catches for 72 yards for Chattanooga.
