Cole Bergquist passed for 377 yards and three touchdowns for Montana, including scoring passes of 64 and 42 yards to Marc Mariani.
Mike Reilly passed for 280 yards and three touchdowns for Central Washington (4-1), ranked ninth in the American Football Coaches Association poll.
The Grizzlies built a 35-24 lead after two consecutive rushing touchdowns by Chase Reynolds, the last with 7:24 remaining.
Reilly answered with a 56-yard touchdown pass to Johnny Spevak with 3:54 remaining. After recovering an onside kick, the Wildcats tied the score at 35 on a 44-yard field goal by Garrett Rolsma with 2:47 remaining.
