NEW YORK -- David Sinisi rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns to help Monmouth beat Wagner 31-17 on Saturday.

Brett Burke connected on 23 of 28 passes for 152 yards for the Hawks (4-3, 3-0 Northeast Conference), who have won four straight games.

Burke tossed a 16-yard TD pass to John Nalbone with 6:48 left in the fourth quarter to give Monmouth a 24-17 lead. Sinisi added a 22-yard scoring run to seal the win.

Matt Abbey tossed two touchdown passes to Tyrone Collins for Wagner (2-4, 0-4), which has lost three straight. Abbey was 13-of-24 for 157 yards and an interception.
