MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Josh McGregor threw six touchdown passes to lead Jacksonville to a 40-9 victory over Morehead State on Saturday.
The Dolphins (4-3, 2-1 Pioneer Football League) took a 13-0 lead in the first quarter after McGregor threw a 20-yard touchdown to Geavon Tribble and a 21-yard scoring pass to Cameron Abdallah.
After a Morehead State field goal, McGregor hit Rodney Sumter on an 11-yard touchdown in the second quarter then both connected with each again in the third on a 24-yard passing score to put Jacksonville ahead 26-3.
McGregor, who finished with 319 yards passing, threw a 59-yard touchdown to Christopher Kuck and found Tribble on a 37-yard score in the fourth quarter. Tribble caught four passes for 109 yards, while McGregor had 43 yards on the ground on eight carries.
Evan Sawyer went 15-of-28 for 146 yards and a touchdown for Morehead State (3-4, 1-2).
