ORONO, Maine -- Pushaun Brown carried 16 times for 136 yards and a touchdown Saturday to help lead Maine to a 55-7 win over Iona.
Maine, (6-3), registering its fourth consecutive victory, picked up 375 rushing yards and overall outgained Iona (3-6) by 516-130.
Maine's Jared Turcotte netted 79 yards on eight carries with a touchdown.
Roosevelt Boone, who gained 56 yards on 13 attempts, and Jhamal Fluellen, who added 46 yards on 10 tries, each scored two touchdowns.
Quarterback Mike Brusko completed 11 of 14 passes for 141 yards and two scores for Maine.
Maine scored on seven of its first nine possessions to take a commanding 35-7 halftime lead.
Iona quarterback Warren Smith completed 19 of 31 passes for 122 yards, including a 25-yard TD toss to Nick Groth in the second quarter. He was intercepted twice.
Matt Pergolini led the Gaels' defense with a 12-tackle performance.
