BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Chris Lum passed for two touchdowns and a career-high 310 yards Saturday as Lehigh romped to a 44-14 victory over Colgate in a Patriot League game.
The Mountain Hawks (6-2, 2-0) broke the game open in a 24-point second quarter, expanding a 7-0 lead to 31-7 by halftime. Lum threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Sean Farrell to complete Lehigh's opening possession and found Jake Drwal on a 9-yard scoring pass on the Mountain Hawks' final possession of the half.
Lehigh did most of its damage through the air, getting 317 of its 474 total yards on passes. Lum completed 17 of 22 attempts and rushed for a third-quarter touchdown as Lehigh won its fourth in a row.
Jarard Cribbs intercepted his sixth pass of the season -- the most in the Patriot League since 2004 -- and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown, giving the Mountain Hawks a 24-0 lead.
