TOWSON, Md. -- Terrance West scored the first two touchdowns of his career to lead Towson to a 31-10 win over Villanova on Saturday night in the Colonial Athletic Association opener for both teams.
The Tigers, who are 2-0 for the first time since 2007, forced a fumble on Villanova's opening drive. Grant Enders gave Towson a 7-0 lead with a 47-yard touchdown pass to Dominique Booker with 5:44 left in the first quarter.
West scored on a 2-yard run late in the first half for his first career touchdown, then added a 4-yard run midway through the third quarter to give Towson a 21-0 lead.
Enders, the reigning CAA Offensive Player of the Week, completed 19 of 26 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 62 yards on seven carries.
Lawrence Doss led the Wildcats (0-2) with 71 yards on nine carries.
