CULLOWHEE, N.C. -- Logan Hallock completed the first 20 passes of his collegiate career, passing for two touchdowns in Appalachian State's 38-27 victory over Western Carolina on Saturday.
Hallock, whose only previous playing time was taking a knee on two late-game snaps earlier this season, entered in the first quarter after starting quarterback Jamal Jackson injured his knee. Jackson had thrown a 32-yard touchdown pass to Tony Washington. Once Jackson went to the bench, he never returned and Hallock never misfired until his 21st pass, an incompletion.
