NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Brady Attaway threw three touchdown passes as Stephen F. Austin defeated rival Northwestern State 34-17 on Saturday afternoon in the season finale for both teams.
The score was tied at 10 at halftime, and at 17 at the end of the third quarter. The Demons (4-7, 2-5, Southland) were unable to score in the fourth. But the Lumberjacks had more success. Gus Johnson made an 8-yard touchdown run. Roberson caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Attaway, and Jordan Wiggs added a field goal.
