Buffalo 48, Central Florida 20

AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) -- Chris Moore completed 5 of 7 passes for 195
yards and a score to lead Buffalo to a 48-20 win over Central
Florida on Saturday.

Moore threw a pass to Terrance Breaux in the third quarter for
an 86-yard touchdown. Moore, a redshirt freshman, replaced P.J.
Piskorik, who was suspended indefinitely.

Coach Jim Hofher said in a statement Piskorik was sidelined
because of "repeated violations of his responsibilities as an
intercollegiate student-athlete."

Datwan Hemingway rushed for 38 yards on 7 attempts while
sparking the Bulls (1-4) to a 27-13 halftime lead.

Buffalo's Steven King ran for 110 yards on 15 carries and two
touchdowns while Dave Dawson rushed for 53 yards on 11 attempts and
a pair of scores. Jared Patterson (10 carries, 44 yards) also
scored on a 2-yard run.

Alex Haynes rushed 23 times for 131 yards and two touchdowns for
Central Florida (0-4).

Steven Moffett ran for 47 yards and threw for a career-high 270
yards, completing 23 of 35 attempts and a touchdown -- an 8-yard
toss to Tavaris Capers, with three interceptions.
