HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Anton Clarkson threw three touchdown
passes, including a 74-yarder to Marcus Colston and a 69-yarder to
Devale Ellis, to help Hofstra rout Stony Brook 55-0 on Saturday
night in game delayed twice because of lightning.

Clarkson was 18-for-27 for 336 yards for Hofstra (2-0), which
improved to 10-0 against the Seawolves (1-1). Ellis had seven
catches for 133 yards.

Kareem Huggins scored two straight TDs for the Pride in the
second quarter, the first on a 2-yard run and the second on a
39-yard pass from Clarkson that made it 39-0.

Play was delayed for 1 hour, 39 minutes because of lightning.
