EASTON, Mass. (AP) -- Joe Correia had 238 passing yards and a
touchdown to lead Assumption to a 16-3 win over Stonehill Friday.
Correia completed 18 of 24 passes including a 70-yarder to Jake
Beers for a third-quarter touchdown. Kevin L'Ecuyer also had a
24-yard touchdown run with just over two minutes left in the first
half. He had 99 yards rushing for the Greyhounds (1-1, 1-1
Jordan Belliveau had a safety for Assumption with just over four
minutes left in the game.
Stonehill's (0-2,0-2 NE-10) only score was Sean Donahue's
40-yard field goal early in the second quarter.
