HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Justin Rascati threw three touchdown
passes, including a 64-yarder to Ardon Branford, and James Madison
beat Hofstra 42-10 Saturday.
Maurice Renner ran for 125 yards on 14 carries for the Dukes
(3-1, 1-0 Atlantic 10), including a 66-yard touchdown run that put
them ahead for good, 14-7, in the third.
After Hofstra's Anton Clarkson threw a 4-yard pass to Terry
Crenshaw in the second quarter to make the score 7-7, James Madison
outscored the Pride (2-2, 0-1) 35-3 the rest of the way.
Clarkson was 24-for-40 for 274 yards, but was intercepted three
times. Chuck Suppon returned one of the picks 33 yards for a
touchdown to put James Madison up 21-7 in the third.
