HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston quarterback Kevin Kolb became the all-time leading passer in school history, throwing for 350 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-7 victory over Tulane on Saturday night.

Kolb finished the game with 9,738 career passing yards, breaking David Klingler's mark of 9,430 yards set from 1988-91. Kolb also moved past 10,000 yards of total offense for his career.

Anthony Aldridge had five carries for 155 yards and two touchdowns for Houston (2-0, 2-0 Conference USA), including an 87-yard run in the fourth quarter that was the third-longest in school history.

The game was the 12 straight on the road for Tulane (0-1, 0-1), which has not played at home since being displaced by Hurricane Katrina last year.

Green Wave quarterback Lester Ricard threw for a 49-yard touchdown to Matt Forte in the second quarter for Tulane's only score. Ricard completed 14 of 25 passes for 156 yards.

Houston had 621 yards in total offense, the first time the Cougars have had more than 600 yards since totaling 647 in a win over Army in 2004.

Kolb, who had his 12th career 300-yard game and played just three quarters, completed 24 of 41 passes and threw one interception. His touchdown pass to Vincent Marshall was a school-record 20th time the duo has connected for a score.

Kolb completed 18 of 30 passes for two touchdowns the first half. The Cougars also got rushing touchdowns from Roshawn Pope and Aldridge. Ben Bell kicked a 38-yard field goal to give Houston a 31-7 halftime lead.

Donnie Avery caught 7 passes for 96 yards for Houston and Marshall caught 6 for 119, his 13th career 100-yard game.
