STILLWATER, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Oklahoma State knew what it
was doing when it made out this season's schedule.
Mike Hamilton rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns as the
Cowboys rolled to their third consecutive lopsided victory, 48-8
over Florida Atlantic.
Oklahoma State is off to a 3-0 start, hardly a surprise
considering the previous two opponents were Missouri State and
The Cowboys have outscored their opponents, 135-25, and have one
more non-conference game - next week at Houston - before
venturing into Big 12 play.
Hamilton opened the scoring with a six-yard run and Chris
Collins returned a fumble three yards to stake the Cowboys to a
14-0 first-quarter lead and they never looked back.
Quarterback Bobby Reid was 9-of-16 for 169 yards and one
touchdown, a 69-yard pass to Adarius Bowman in the second
quarter. He later scored on a nine-yard run.
Dantrell Savage capped the scoring for the Cowboys with a
70-yard TD run in the fourth quarter and finished with 97 yards
on eight carries.
Florida Atlantic (0-3), which is coach by Howard
Schnellenberger, got its only score in the fourth quarter on an
eight-yard run by fullback Willie Rose. The team has been
outscored 147-14 this season.
