LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -- Alvin Banks ran for 110 yards and scored
three touchdowns as James Madison beat Virginia Military Institute
45-7 on Saturday.
Banks scored once in the first quarter off a two-yard run and
twice in the second, on runs of 13 yards and 5 yards.
The Dukes (3-1) were up 24 points at the half after Banks'
touchdowns and a 20-yard field goal by David Rabil.
Following a scoreless third quarter, the Keydets (1-4) answered
in the fourth when Willie Bell scored off a 28-yard pass from Kyle
Hughes. Hughes was 10 for 13 with 113 yards.
Justin Rascati was 18 for 24 for James Madison, with 237 yards
and one interception.
