Youngstown State 55, Indiana State 17

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -- Marcus Mason and Justin Reams both ran
for more than 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Youngstown
State beat Indiana State 55-17 on Saturday.

The Penguins (5-1, 2-0 Gateway) fell behind 3-0 early, then
scored 34 straight points. They totaled 382 yards rushing led by
Mason's 197 yards and Reams' 102 yards.

Mason accounted for every yard on Youngstown State's five-play,
66-yard scoring drive that made it 13-3 in the second quarter.

Tom Zetts was 10 of 19 passing for 111 yards and a 20-yard
touchdown to T.J. Peterson. Ben Lane added a 23-yard TD run and
Jason Perry scored on a 64-yard punt return.

Ben Schmidt was 23-of-42 passing for 201 yards as Indiana State
(0-6, 0-2) tried to play catch up. He connected with Carl Berman
and Sam Logan for touchdowns to pull within 34-17 early in the
fourth quarter.

Mason put the game away on a 56-yard TD run with 8:03 left.
