JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) -- Bobby Washington had a 76-yard touchdown run and one of Eastern Kentucky's two kickoff returns for scores to help Eastern Kentucky to a 31-20 win over Jacksonville State on Saturday.
Davin Walker returned a kickoff 95 yards in the first quarter after Jacksonville State (1-3, 0-1 Ohio Valley Conference) took a 10-0 lead on Cedric Johnson's 9-yard scoring pass to Deonte Carter and a 45-yard field goal by Gavin Hallford.
In the second quarter, Washington ran it back 94 yards after Johnson ran for an 18-yard score. He finished with 110 yards rushing.
Allan Holland was 9-of-17 passing for 101 yards and ran for another score to help Eastern Kentucky (2-1, 1-0) win its conference opener.
Johnson went 20-of-37 with 245 yards and a touchdown for the Gamecocks.
