The Northeastern Huskies (1-5) failed to score on their next drive, and Delaware then drove down the field in a long drive that ended in a field goal by Jon Striefsky.
The final touchdown was Cuff's 24th of the year.
Northeastern led 14-13 at halftime, and both teams added a touchdown in the third quarter. But Delaware lineman Jeremy Kametz blocked an extra point kick attempt by the Huskies in the third quarter to tie the game at 20 all, before Delaware added the final touchdown and field goal.
