DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -- Ricky Santos passed for 419 yards and five touchdowns and ran for another score as New Hampshire pulled away in the second half for a 49-36 win over Rhode Island on Saturday.
Santos' top targets were Mike Boyle with seven catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, LeVan with seven catches for 93 yards and a score, and Scott Sicko with four catches for 56 yards and two touchdowns.
Santos completed 24-of-30 passes and climbed to sixth in the Championship Subdivision in career passing yards with 12,189 yards, and fourth in career touchdown passes with 116.
The teams combined for more than 1,000 yards of total offense, with New Hampshire compiling 537 yards to Rhode Island's 529.
