DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -- New Hampshire quarterback Ricky Santos moved into third place on the NCAA Championship Subdivision's career passing yardage and career touchdown passes lists by throwing for 355 yards and four touchdowns in a 39-14 win over Maine on Saturday.
Santos, who was 25-of-32, now has 12,961 yards passing, moving him past Mississippi Valley State's Willie Totten.
He also has 121 career touchdown passes, which moves him past Alcorn State's Steve McNair, the current Baltimore Ravens quarterback, who had 119.
Three of Santos' touchdown passes went to Mike Boyle, who finished with seven receptions for 170 yards. His second TD reception at 8:15 of the second quarter gave the Wildcats (7-4, 4-4 Colonial Athletic Association) a 17-7 halftime lead.
New Hampshire pulled away by scoring the first 22 points of the second half, including a 49-yard touchdown reception by Boyle and a 15-yard TD catch by Scott Sicko.
The Black Bears (4-7, 3-5) were led by Mike Brusko, who went 20-of-30 for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Jhamal Fluellen's 84-yard catch and run in the first half equaled the longest pass play in Maine history.
