NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) -- A 70-yard touchdown connection from Aubrey Norris to Nick Colagiovanni with 3:25 left on the clock clinched Central Connecticut State University's 42-35 win over Bryant University on Saturday.
Norris finished the game 6-for-13 for 113 yards and a score in the air, while James Mallory led Central in rushing with 254 yards on 28 carries.
The Blue Devils took the lead late on their second punt block of the game.
Nick Delgado got a hand on it, and Cory Robinson recovered the ball into the end zone to give Central a 35-28 advantage with 7:41 left in the game.
The Bulldogs responded with 70 yards on eight plays on the ensuing drive, capped by Jay Graber's 20-yard touchdown pass to Mike Canfora to tie the game at 35 with 4:43 left.
