LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) -- Rashad Jennings rushed for 100 yards and two first-half touchdowns to lead Liberty to a 49-10 victory over North Greenville on Saturday.
Jennings scored on runs of 2 and 6 yards as the Flames (1-0) sprinted to a 28-3 halftime lead. Liberty added 21 second-half points to cruise to the victory.
Smith, who threw for 171 yards, also connected with Dominic Bolden on a 48-yard touchdown pass.
Terron Lawrence capped the scoring for Liberty with a 3-yard run with 12:16 left in the game.
Liberty held North Greenville to 69 yards on the ground.
