CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Jeff Ehrhardt threw for 304 yards and accounted for two touchdowns to lead Murray State to a 32-12 win over Austin Peay on Saturday night.
Ehrhardt, who completed 25 of 36 passes, threw three interceptions for the Racers (2-4, 1-1 Ohio Valley Conference). He also had 53 yards rushing on 10 carries.
Derrick Townsell had 165 yards receiving on seven catches and one touchdown for Murray State, which outgained the Governors (0-6, 0-3) 461-226 in the game.
After trading field goals in the first quarter, Ehrhardt connected with Townsell on a 52-yard scoring pass and Charlie Jordan scored on a 4-yard run to put the Racers ahead 20-3 with 32 seconds left in the second quarter.
Terrence Holt returned the ensuing kickoff 66 yards for the Governors then T.C. Jennings connected with Jeff Lyle on a 19-yard touchdown pass to cut the Murray State lead to 20-10 at halftime.
Kienan Cullen's 35-yard field goal followed a safety that gave Murray State a 25-10 lead at the close of the third.
