CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Adam Urbano scored on a 3-yard run in triple overtime to lift Georgia Southern to a 44-41 win over The Citadel on Saturday.

The Eagles (5-4, 3-3 Southern Conference), who played their third overtime game this season, trailed for much of the game until Antonio Henton scored on a 1-yard run to give them a 21-16 lead in the third quarter.

Alex Sellars caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Bart Blanchard and the Bulldogs (3-6, 1-5) regained the lead at 24-16 in the third. But the Eagles used a five-play, 41-yard drive, capped by Adrian Mora's 37-yard field goal with 3:42 left in the fourth to tie game at 24-24 and send it into overtime.

Henton, who completed 21 of 35 passes for 261 yards and an interception, threw two touchdowns in OT -- a 13-yarder to Zeke Rozier and a 25-yarder to Raja Andrews to give Georgia Southern a 38-31 lead.

Taylor Cornett tied the game in the third overtime on a 2-yard catch from Blanchard and The Citadel claimed a 41-38 advantage on a 19-yard field goal by Sam Keeler.

But Urbano, who finished with 37 yards rushing, answered with the game-winning 3-yard touchdown.

Andrews finished with 10 catches for 102 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. Henton led Georgia Southern with 43 yards rushing and was sacked five times.

Blanchard finished with 358 yards passing for the Bulldogs, and Asheton Jordan ran for 118 yards on 25 carries. Andre Roberts had nine catches for 165 yards and a touchdown. Scott Flanagan had 105 yards receiving on eight catches.
