JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Geavon Tribble scored on a 7-yard touchdown run with five minutes remaining to lift Jacksonville to a 19-14 win over Dayton on Saturday.
The Dolphins (9-3, 7-1 Pioneer Football League) scored 19 fourth-quarter points to seal the win and capture the Pioneer Football League title. Jacksonville held the Flyers (9-3, 6-2) scoreless in the final quarter.
Josh McGregor completed 16 of 28 passes for 175 yards with two interceptions, and rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.
The Dolphins got all of their points in the fourth quarter. Elliott Finkley scored on a 54-yard punt return and McGregor ran it in from 1 yard out before Tribble's game-winner.
