ITHACA, N.Y. -- Nick Schwieger ran for two touchdowns and 164 yards and Dartmouth defeated Cornell 28-10 on Saturday.
The Big Green (5-4, 2/3 Ivy League) trailed 10-7 at halftime, before scoring 21 unanswered points, including Schwieger's two TD runs.
Schwieger put Dartmouth ahead for good, 14-10, on an 18-yard run early in the third quarter.
Dominic Pierre ran for an 11-yard score a little more than five minutes later and Schwieger had his other score on a 22-yard run with 3:21 left in the game.
The Big Green had 222 yards rushing compared to just 24 yards on the ground by Cornell (2-6, 1-7).
Tim McManus, who had 73 yards on five catches, had Dartmouth's other score on a 7-yard pass from Conner Kempe for a 7-0 lead.
Jeff Matthews was 21 for 33 with one interception and 164 yards for the Big Red, who lost for the fourth time in their last five games.
