NORFOLK, Va. -- Chris Walley passed for a career-high 305 yards and four touchdowns and set a single-game school record for completion percentage in leading Norfolk State to a 37-25 win over Morgan State on Saturday.
Walley completed 20 of 22 passes (90.9 percent) with one interception as the Spartans (4-5, 3-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) won their second straight after a four-game skid.
Walley's 10-yard pass to Reggie Garrett with 4 seconds left in the first quarter gave Norfolk State a 10-6 lead. He hit Nigel McCowan with a 45-yarder in the second quarter and Sherron Childress with a 3-yarder in the third to build a 27-12 cushion.
Morgan State's Kemar Scarlett kicked four field goals.
