WASHINGTON -- Jay Campbell rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown, and Lehigh clinched its first Patriot League title since 2001 with a 24-7 win over Georgetown on Saturday.
The win was the sixth straight for the Mountain Hawks, who earned their first NCAA tournament berth since 2004.
Tom Randazza kicked field goals of 32, 23 and 31 yards for Lehigh (8-2, 4-0 Patriot League), who beat Georgetown for the 10th time in a row. Quarterback Chris Lum completed 24 of 47 passes for 297 yards but was intercepted three times.
Lehigh trailed 7-6 at halftime, but got touchdown runs by Michael Colvin and Campbell in the second half to take control. The Mountain Hawks outgained Georgetown 441-214 in total yards.
Georgetown (3-7, 2-3), which lost its sixth straight game, got its only score on a 9-yard touchdown run by Dalen Claytor in the second quarter.
