TOLEDO, Ohio -- Ausitn Dantin and Terrance Owens each threw two touchdown passes as Toledo routed Eastern Michigan 54-16 on Saturday.
Dantin completed 14 of 16 for 156 yards while Owens was 13 of 14 for 146 yards. Their favorite target was Eric Page, who caught 11 passes for 109 yards and a touchdown. Page's effort set a school record for career receptions with 235 and surpassed current Arizona Cardinals receiver Stephen Williams, who had 229 catches from 2005-08.
The win was the fifth in a row and 11th in the past 12 meetings in the series for the Rockets (3-3, 2-0 Mid-American Conference), who piled up 542 yards in total offense.
The Eagles (3-3, 1-1) came into the game averaging 233 yards rushing to lead the MAC, but were held to 89 yards rushing and 227 yards total offense.
