CEDAR CITY, Utah -- Henna Brown ran for two touchdowns and 82 yards to help Southern Utah beat UC Davis 34-3 on Saturday.
Brad Sorensen led the game in passing, completing 24 of 33 for 238 yards and a touchdown for the Thunderbirds (5-4, 1/3 Great West). Colton Cook added two field goals.
Southern Utah went ahead early in the first quarter when Sorensen connected with Austin Minefee for a touchdown. Then in the fourth quarter, Minefee ran for Southern Utah's final score.
The Thunderbirds netted 489 yards on offense while the Aggies (2-6, 0-2) managed just 193.
The Aggies' Randy Wright threw 14 for 23 for 158 yards. UC Davis avoided the shutout when Sean Kelley kicked a 54-yard field goal midway through the fourth quarter.
