Fred Anderson ran for 103 yards and a TD for the Panthers (2-5, 2/3 SWAC), who built a 38-10 lead. Smiley had scoring passes of 37 yards to Jacoby Anderson, 46 yards to Greg Thurmond, 50 yards to Deandre Cooper and 5 yards to Olantunde Idowu. He was 16 of 20 for 251 yards and was not intercepted. Panthers receiver Spencer Nelson ran for a touchdown and threw a 14-yard touchdown to Jacoby Anderson.
