Texas confirmed RB/KR Roderick Bernard will miss the 2016 season after undergoing left knee surgery. Bernard, a backup who caught one pass last season, suffered a season-ending injury to the same knee in 2014.

The Florida State senior took it last summer and it increased his flexibility. He finished with a career-high 10.5 sacks, and Walker said he's taking yoga again this summer.

Oklahoma State's Marcell Ateman, a returning starter at WR, could be out until October after recently undergoing surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot. According to The Oklahoman, Ateman injured the foot during non-contact summer drills. Ateman was OSU's third-leading receiver last year with 45 receptions, 766 yards and five touchdowns.
