Earlier this year, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported on the University of Cincinnati's diligent campaign to join the Big 12, in the event the league voted to expand. ESPN.com has gained access to a series of documents showing that lobbying has continued. On Feb. 3, Cincinnati president Santa Ono sent a letter to Texas Tech interim president John Opperman highlighting a conversation the two had about Cincinnati's Big 12 candidacy. Enclosed with the letter was a brochure touting Cincinnati with the title "Onward."

Regarding a partner for the Pac-12 Networks, commissioner Larry Scott says that he likes their current model but that they've absolutely had conversations with suitors. But so far there have been "no more attractive option than the path were on." Says they will keep the regional networks/feeds.

Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott says he regrets that his comments called into question the integrity of UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero. Scott said there was "confusion about the Pac-12's position" but he did not intend to compromise Guerrero's integrity. "He's held in very high regard by me."
