| PRACTICE NOTES |
Monday (1/21/02):
DeShaun Foster's ready to play right now. He made the linebackers look foolish. Foster looked like he'd been running pass patterns at the pro level. He was sure, confident and quick. Foster showed good hands and athletic skill. He made one cut into the hole that was so quick it took your breath away. He looks and acts like a professional football player. Foster was easily the No. 1 guy of the practice.
Tuesday (1/22/02):
DeShaun Foster was very fluid and showed great feet. He did a really nice job blocking the linebackers in one-on-one drills. Showing toughness and a willingness to block should really help him. Foster also exhibited good vision running the ball. Everything looks like it comes real easy to him.
Wednesday (1/23/02):
DeShaun Foster still looks good. Everything looks easy to him. Some may think he's not running hard, but it's just because he's so fluid -- smooth as silk. Foster caught the ball extremely well and showed great quickness and balance. It'll be interesting to see if he really steps it up in the game to make himself a high pick. Foster will need to be physical and make some plays on Saturday.
Thursday (1/24/02):
DeShaun Foster caught the screen and downfield passes very well today. He was smooth in his route running. Foster also displayed good vision and a quick burst inside. He continues to look good.

| SUMMARY |
DeShaun Foster is a very fluid, smooth and athletic running back. He makes things look easy. Foster has outstanding hands and runs good routes. He needs to improve inside running, pushing the pile and attacking defenders. The most important thing for Foster is to improve his ball protection -- Ahman Green corrected his fumbling problem and so can Foster. He solidified his position this week. Look for Foster to go in the 1st round.
