The Jump Around discusses Corey Clement's comments on his future and why it would it make no sense for him to leave after this year.

Heilprin: It was absolutely a catch

What does "didn't complete the process of the catch" mean? Zach Heilprin discusses the non game-winning catch from Jazz Peavy in the Badgers' loss to Northwestern.

Wisconsin running back Corey Clement says if the NFL draft advisory board projects him as a third round pick or worse, he will return to school. Badgers RB coach John Settle told me he will advise Corey to stay because he hasn't put together a complete season. Clement has appeared in only three games while battling a sports hernia injury.

Wisconsin and Minnesota have the most-played rivalry in major college football, but it's been a one-sided affair lately. Wisconsin has won 11 straight games by an average score of 37-21. It's the longest winning streak for either team in series history. The teams meet for Paul Bunyan's Axe again this Saturday.

How good are the 8-3 Badgers?

Sorry, Wisconsin fans, but Ivan Maisel believes the Badgers' record reflects their schedule. Three of four nonconference opponents have a combined record of 8-26. Maisel: 3-point stance

Students pelt cheerleaders with snowballs

Fans from the Wisconsin student section began pelting the team's own cheerleaders with snowballs during the first half of the game against Northwestern. The Badgers cheerleaders were forced to exit the field through a tunnel but returned for the second half. Story

Got clarification on the two main replay reversal TDs in Northwestern-Wisconsin. 1) On punt return, Alex Erickson gave an invalid fair catch signal, which means any sort of arm-waving not above your head (legal fair catch signal). An invalid fair catch signal offers ball carrier no protection from being hit. The play should have been blown dead as soon as Erickson caught the ball, but overall call was correct. 2) A receiver going to the ground must maintain full control when he eventually goes out of bounds. Replay determined Jazz Peavy was bobbling ball as his body went out of bounds.
