Is Rutgers' schedule too tough?

If any team's early-season schedule is too tough, it belongs to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. They have already played two teams ranked in the most recent top five, and meet unbeaten No. 3 Maryland next Monday in the Jimmy V Classic (ESPN2, 7 p.m. ET). C. Vivian Stringer's bunch, which also scored a win at then-No. 14 George Washington last week, plays No. 8 Duke, 14th-ranked Cal and Temple in December. The always rugged Big East competition begins in January, and includes two matchups with unbeaten No. 2 Connecticut. Then there's the February date with top-ranked Tennessee, a rematch of last season's national championship game.
