HARTFORD, Conn. -- As Notre Dame freshman Natalie Novosel meandered through a postgame answer without quite the same sense of purpose or confidence as she had shown bushwhacking through the St. John's defense for 15 key points, teammate Lindsay Schrader dropped her head in a valiant attempt to stifle the smile spreading across her face.
Such are the simple pleasures of living to play another day after a 62-45 win in the Big East tournament.
