Someone once told me about being a writer that great was the enemy of good. Meaning that if you were striving all the time to come up with the "great" lead paragraph or the "great" transitions or the "great" finish, you might just end up missing deadline and giving yourself and your editor a headache.
And that all the while, there was probably something good enough in your grasp.
