Kaela Davis picks Georgia Tech

Kaela Davis, the No. 2 prospect in the nation, announced Thursday that she will stay close to home, giving a verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.

Davis, a 6-foot-2 guard from Buford (Ga.), becomes the first top-100 player in the 2013 class to give a verbal commitment to the Yellow Jackets. She joins Donnaizha Fountain, a 6-foot guard from Cambridge Rindge & Latin School (Cambridge, Mass.), and Gabrielle Holston, a 6-1 wing from Center Point (Birmingham, Ala.), in Georgia Tech's 2013 class.
