Five score in double figures as No. 16 UCLA cruises

EUGENE, Ore. -- Atonye Nyingifa scored 18 points, leading five players in double figures, to help No. 16 UCLA beat Oregon 89-80 Friday night in the Pac-12 opener for both teams.

Nyingifa was 7 of 13 from the field. Nirra Fields scored 14 points, and Thea Lemberger and Kari Korver had 11 points apiece. Markel Walker had 10 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for UCLA (10-2).

UCLA led 50-32 at halftime and never looked back.
