Overview
Cindy Stein has the Tigers heading in the right direction in just her third season as head coach. They have made steady improvement every season and are back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in seven years. All-Big 12 performer Amanda Lassiter does a little bit of everything for the Tigers. She can score, rebound and block shots, and her versatility makes her difficult to defend, especially when she and guard Tracy Franklin are hitting from beyond the arc. Lassiter is joined up front by forward Marlena Williams and 6-foot-1 freshman Evan Unrau.

Player to Watch
Amanda Lassiter is averaging 19 points and six rebounds a game. The 6-foot-1 All-Big 12 forward is dangerous down low and also can step out and knock down the 3-pointer.
