Overview
The Blue Devils won the regular-season and ACC tournament championships, essentially without a center. They have tremendous perimeter players in Kodak All-American candidate Georgia Schweitzer, national Freshman of the Year candidate Alana Beard and explosive guard Sheana Mosch. Duke's transition game is tremendous; it can break you down off the dribble and shoot the 3-pointer well. Matching up outside also is tough. Senior forward Rochelle Parent is one of the hardest working players in the country.

Player to Watch
Heading into the NCAA Tournament, freshman Alana Beard is averaging 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 3.5 steals and 1.1 blocks in 27 games. She has scored 20 or more points in eight games and scored in double figures in all but four contests. She is the first conference freshman to be selected to the All-ACC first team.
