Overview A league-record 10th SWAC title followed by the conference tournament championship have the Braves back in the NCAA Tournament.
They are on a roll and haven't lost since Jan. 22.
Alcorn State has the best defense in the league as well as the best player in 5-11 senior Cherea Wood. Wood was named the SWAC Player of the Year for averaging 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game.
