Overview
 Drake picked up 20 wins and a share of the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title this year, which included a win over SMS and Jackie Stiles. Defensively, Drake is very tough. The Bulldogs held opponents to just 63 points a game and 37 percent field-goal shooting to lead the conference. Carla Bennett and Stephanie Schmitz are double-digit scorers.
Player to Watch
Guard Kristin Santa, a 5-foot-9 senior, is a good playmaker who averages five assists per game and shoots 38 percent from 3-point range.
