Pennsylvania Quakers
Road to the Final Four.............................................................................................
Overview The Quakers are celebrating their first trip to the NCAA Tournament after a great regular season for coach Kelly Greenberg. Penn registered a school record for victories, highlighted by only the second unbeaten conference record (14-0) in Ivy League history (Harvard did it first in 1997). Penn enters the tournament with a 21-game win streak, the longest in the nation, and the Quakers were the first team to clinch a berth in the tournament.Player to WatchThere's not that hasn't been said about the career of senior forward Diana Caramanico, who became the Ivy League's all-time leading scorer on Feb. 24 in the Quakers' Ivy League title-clinching victory against Harvard (breaking former Crimson player Allison Feaster's record set from 1994-98). Caramanico, who last season became Penn women's basketball's all-time leading scorer, also has notched her 2,000th career point and 1,000th career rebound. She was this season's unanimous Ivy League Player of the Year. Roster NO. In addition to winning the program's first-ever Ivy League banner, the Quakers also set a new high for wins in a season with 21. The old record was 18, set in 1999-2000.
