Overview
Last season, Iowa couldn't muster 10 wins. This year, with a new coach and new attitude, the Hawkeyes are the Big Ten tournament champions and headed to the postseason. Big Ten Coach of the Year Lisa Bluder has done a remarkable job turning the program around in a short time. Guards Cara Consuegra and Lindsey Meder are All-Big Ten selections. Consuegra is a playmaker and team leader while Meder is one of the league's top scorers and 3-point threats.

Player to Watch
Randi Petersen, a 6-foot-2 forward, has vastly improved this season, scoring 13 points per game and leading the league in rebounding.
